Annotated Bib Peer Review As

Questions for reviewers

  • In my second paragraph about the CRAAP test, is there enough information or should I add more?

claire - She said you needed 250 words total I believe and it looks like you hit that mark so you don't need to add more but, if you want to go ahead. It would only help show how the article supports your topic.
I think you have enough information for the CRAAP test but it can never hurt to put one in. ML

  • Do you think my summaries are ok? Are they too broad or too detailed?

claire - I think the summaries are perfect. They aren't too broad and they aren't overly detailed.
You did a very goo job writing your summaries and i didn't think they are broad at all. ML

Are the summaries detailed enough that you understand what the source is all about? Are there details that the writer included that are unnecessary to the summary? What questions are you left with after reading the summaries?

claire - Yes they are detailed enough so you know what the article is talking about. The only thing is that a few words are repeated a lot so maybe try to ease up on the repetition. Other than that it is good. I didn't have questions after reading them. They were straight to the point and easy to understand.
I think you did a great job adding enough detail. All of the information i thought was necessary for getting your point across. I was not left with any questions. ML

Did the reviewer evaluate the sources using the CRAAP test? Do you see criteria based judgements about each letter (currency, relevance, authority, accuracy, purpose)? What is missing?

claire - You can tell she did refer to the CRAAP test but maybe she could have been a little more thorough. Overall it was enough to show that they are reliable articles.
You did a great job using the CRAAP test and you hit all the sections of it. ML

Are the reflection sections complete enough that you understand how the writer responded to the sources? Could they include more information?

claire - They seem slightly broad so maybe try to be a little more specific about exactly how the article is helpful and how its going to be used.
I didn't think you had any issues with them and I understood. ML

Based on these three entries, in what direction do you think the writer's research is going?

claire - If by what direction it is going you mean how she is progressing she seems to be doing well. She should have no trouble finding 4 more sources.
I feel you have gotten a lot of great information and you are only going to get a better understanding of your topic. ML

What questions are you left with after reading these entries?

claire - No questions. One comment though. This topic seems very interesting, I'm looking forward to see how it turns out.
I have no questions at this time. ML

What are these annotations weaknesses?

claire - A little too broad in some aspects (reflection sections) but overall it is very good.
I don't believe you have any weaknesses in the annotations and you did a really great job with them. ML

What are these annotations strengths?

I think you did a really great job with the summaries and giving enough information to understand what its about but not to much that you are telling us everything. ML
