In the article at talks about how childhood obesity has played a major issue in schools and how it has tripled in the past thirty years. Over weight is having to much excess weight and it has long term effects on the health and wellbeing of not just kids but everyone. Long term effects have seem to start at a young age and cause heart disease and diabetes once they reach adulthood. Being overweight has caused a variety of cancers including breast cancer and kidney problems. In order to help prevent issues with obesity people would have to change habits including eating and work in physical activities during the day so that it can lower these risks of sickness. Schools have noticed the problems and have practiced healthier eating adjustments to prevent obesity.

The writing seems to be trying to persuade readers to make a change but also at the same time letting us know the problems of obesity. It is reliable information because it is coming from a CDC website which is the Center of Disease Control. It has been recently updated . The writing is understandable and is meant for the average person or concerned citizen. Its information is cited and a lot if its information comes from organizations or societies.

Over all this writing would be a very good and reliable source to use if I were to do a topic on childhood obesity. The information that the CDC uses for the paper is very reliable since it comes from organizations.

"Childern's Health", WebMD, WebMD, July 11th, 2012, web, Feb 10th, 2014.

Some families all have a problem with overweight issues which makes it easier for new born to have a higher chance of being overweight. So in order to prevent overweight issues families need to be more active and help their kids by supporting and motivating them to lose weight.

* Are the summaries detailed enough that you understand what the source is all about? Are there details that the writer included that are unnecessary to the summary? What questions are you left with after reading the summaries? - I think that the summaries were good you were able to understand what the article was about. The only thing is that I was wondering if these articles gave a plan to help out the parents.
* Did the reviewer evaluate the sources using the CRAAP test? Do you see criteria based judgements about each letter (currency, relevance, authority, accuracy, purpose)? What is missing?- They made sure that they hit all of the points of the CRAAP test.
* Are the reflection sections complete enough that you understand how the writer responded to the sources? Could they include more information?- I was thinking that you could have put a little more detail about the way you feel about the articles.
* Based on these two entries, in what direction do you think the writer's research is going?- I think based on these two entries he has a good start to his research.
* What questions are you left with after reading these entries?- When you will be writing will you have more than just saying that people need to eat better and exercise?
* What are these annotations' weaknesses?- They could just use a little more detail.
* What are these annotations' strengths?- They are good I was able to pretty much understand what the articles were about.
