Arguing Cause Peer Review Rachel Modrow

QUESTIONS-
I wrote a note in the middle of the paper about counterarguments, have any ideas that I could do as a counterargument, im stuck. Thanks.

REVIEWER 1- Ali Morrow
Does the argument answer the basic question: Why did this happen? What questions are you left with after reading the argument? Maybe focus more on one thing that makes energy drinks bad.
Does the writer establish that the problem exists and that we should care about it? What is missing? yes, paper states how it is bad for the body
What seem to be the main points of the argument? You do not know what is in the energy drinks and how it effects your body in a bad way
Does the writer genuinely address opposition? What additional opposing viewpoints could the writer address? Can you imagine other objections to the argument? I think that the counter argument was a good start just go more in depth.
What were your reactions to the text as you were reading it? I thought it was informational
What is the argument's greatest weakness? Focus more on counter argument
What is the argument's greatest strength? It flows very well and tells you a lot about the topic.

The paper established a cause nicely and I wasn't left with any questions after reading it.
The writer established that the problem exists.
The main points seem to be that energy drinks are bad for the body and the=at many consumers do not know what they are drinking.
The author answers the objections but I think maybe addressing one more counter argument would be good.
My reactions are this is a well written paper and it makes me not want to drink energy drinks.
Strengths are that energy drinks are addicting and they create a viscous cycle that is hard to get out of.
Weakness probably that there is only one counter argument addressed.
Rachel, I would say maybe address the counter argument that caffeine can improve performance in sports and school. My trainer for my hockey team used to encourage us to have caffeine before a game because there have been studies about caffeine improving reflexes and such.
