I rarely read the food labels. I personally don't really care what's in the food that I'm eating. Occasionally I read the label on pop cans, or like cereal boxes when I'm consuming the product. I'm not sure what kind of information should be included on food labels in the United States. Like I said before I don't look at the food labels and I could care less.

After reading the article about the safety of beef processing method, my views on food label changed. This article makes me want to see what I am putting into my body. I think that whatever is put on products, in the products and whatever is done with the product should be included in the food label. People should know what happened to the product they are about to consume.

I found the article about how we should learn to love the pink slime more convincing. I think that the pink slime should be included on the label and that we should still use the pink slime. The pink slime helps the environment, its healthy and we can use more beef on the cow then if we didn't use the pink slime. I didn't know about the pink slime before I read these articles. I think its very important that everything that is put in or on products should be included on the food labels.

What are the most direct causes of the exigence about which you are writing? Coffee is unhealthy. Studies have shown that coffee has a negative effect to the human body and mind.
What economic or business conditions may play a role in this exigence? If coffee is unhealthy for the human body then maybe the government might ban it from offices and schools to try to help Americans lose weight and to live a healthier lifestyle.
What societal attitudes, fears, or values may have initiated it or indirectly supported it? People are worried that coffee may have a negative affects to their body or even to unborn babies (if you are pregnant). I have found a lot of articles about the harmful effects that coffee has to the human body and to the human mind. People are very concerned about what is being put into their body.

What solution to your crisis can you propose? How will your solution address specific elements or causes of the crisis? Studies show that consuming caffeine at a high amount causes a lot of problems with the human mind and body. Studies also show to when caffeine is consumed at low amounts, there are possible benefits. Caffeine is bad when consumed at high amounts just like all other foods. Eating too much of something can cause a lot of health problems. I was thinking that drinking caffeine in small amounts could be a possible solution. I'm not sure if this solution has already been proposed or tried yet. In my paper I also stated that another problem with caffeine is that people are uninformed about what it really is. People need to know what they are really consuming when they drink caffeine. It is important that people know how it affects their bodies. For this I was thinking that putting caffeine in the media could be a possible solution. Media is now a huge part of our daily life, so putting health facts about caffeine somewhere shouldn't be too hard.
How is your solution particularly practical, logical, manageable, ethical, humane, or economical?
What else has been tried or proposed? Why is your solution the solution your audience should embrace? I haven't really looked to see if there are solutions to consuming caffeine. I am sure there are some out there, I just haven't looked for them yet.
