In regards to this writing assignment, what are you most worried about?
I'm a little concerned that my tone is wrong for this type of writing, I wasn't quite sure of the direction I wanted to go in the beginning and I think that might show throughout what I have written. Let me know what you think!

Alyssa: I found this analysis very easy to follow and I understood your train of thought.

  • How well can you follow the writer's line of reasoning? Are there any places where you got a little lost, or things seemed less clear?

Alyssa: You were very clear on what you were trying to say and you used clear evidence to get your point across.

  • Does the writer address the rhetorical situation sufficiently (purpose, audience, author, genre, and context)? If not, where do you think they need to add or clarify information?

Alyssa: I think the you could state more clearly who the audience is and the genre.

  • Does the writer identify the:
    • catalyst
    • main claim (thesis)
    • supports
    • linkages
    • implications
  • Does the writer give evidence from the article to back up their analysis?

Alyssa: All of these points are made clear in your analysis.

  • Finally, write a few sentences describing your reactions to the text as you were reading it.

This was an easy read and a well written analysis. You stayed on a clear path and supported what you were saying with many examples from the text. -Alyssa
