What solution can you propose to the societal problem you've been writing about? How will your solution address the primary cause of the crisis?
- A more defined rule to help clarify the guidelines to protect citizens right to been seen as innocent until proven guilty.
- Less media coverage of criminal cases without sufficient evidence.
- The primary cause is media coverage, this would target how much the media is allowed to cover and "assume" in a criminal case. This would hopefully help curb the assumption of guilt due to media coverage.
How is your solution particularly practical, logical, manageable, ethical, humane, or economical?
- The solution is practical because it involves clarification of a rule, not necessarily trying to write a new one that would likely not pass.
- It is more practical to try to add on to laws than to create new ones, that have the potential not to pass.
