Solution Proposal Peer Review Kayla Dejong

MY QUESTIONS:

Are my last three citations correct? If so, do I just put the title of the article for the in text citation?

Does the paper seem to flow well or does it jump around? If so what specific parts?
You're paper seems to flows well and not jump around. - Adam Lorentz

Are there any places that seem to brief?

You seem to talk about everything in a non brief way- Adam Lorentz

READERS:

  • Consider outside sources. Do they help support the writer's claims? Do the sources of support take over any portions of the writing and overwhelm the writer's voice?

The sources that you use are helpful and they support your argument. I think the use of your sources do not overwhelm your writing but makes it better for the reader to understand. -Adam Lorentz

I really liked the solution you found. I thought it was reasonable, and possible. I feel that that plan should be implemented as soon as possible. I thought you did a good job balancing you voice and the sources. You were talking they were just there to back you up, not the other way around. - Carly Dietrich

  • Did the proposal anticipate and respond to all valid arguments (opposing viewpoints)? What additional counterarguments and/or concessions would be helpful?

The solutions that you propose talk about the good sides and the bad sides. You focus more on the positive and could talk about the negatives of your solution a bit more. - Adam Lorentz

I agree with Adam here. You did a great job pointing you view out, but you could add a little more of a counter argument. It can only make you paper better then it already is! -Carly Dietrich

  • Is the organization of the writing easy to follow?

You're writing is easy to follow - Adam Lorentz

Super easy to follow - Carly Dietrich

  • What questions are raised in your mind after reading this proposal? Is anything missing?

One question I have is why we do not make a switch from the plastic that we use now for bottled water-Adam Lorentz

Honestly, I think you did a great job. I don't feel like there any holes.

  • What were the most memorable pieces of text?

The most memorable piece is the part about how much plastic waste there is and how much is plastic bottles are contributing to that waste. - Adam Lorentz

Like I said before, I thought your solution was awesome! Its a good idea. -Carly Dietrich

  • What is the writing's greatest weakness?

The only thing I can think of is possibly the length.. the only reason I say that is because you said you were having some issues with it. -
-Carly Dietrich**

  • What is the essay's greatest strength?

I think you're greatest strength is all of the information that you use to support you writing. -Adam Lorentz

You solution. -Carly Dietrich
