Solution Proposal Peer Review Mitch Vollhaber

Reviewers: Rachel Modrow

* Consider outside sources. Do they help support the writer's claims? Do the sources of support take over any portions of the writing and overwhelm the writer's voice?
Yes, all the sources were helpful in pointing out and making the statement reliable. They were all used in a good manner and didn't overwhelm the writers voice.

*Did the proposal anticipate and respond to all valid arguments (opposing viewpoints)? What additional counterarguments and/or concessions would be helpful?
Yes, talked about opposing viewpoints like how some would want energy drinks banned all together but thats not realistic and it would never happen.

*Is the organization of the writing easy to follow?
Yes, into talked about hospital visits and how the public needs to be more aware and one way is with warning labels to increase public awareness and then whole paper talked about that.

*What questions are raised in your mind after reading this proposal? Is anything missing?
No questions were really brought to my mind. You could expand on how the FDA doesnt regulate them and why (if you need more to talk about)

*What were the most memorable pieces of text?
Most memorable to me was talking about finding caffeine in drug tests for the NCAA in college sports. Good point, I never knew that.

*What is the writing's greatest weakness?
There wasn't really any weaknesses. It was all really good.

*What is the essay's greatest strength?
Relating energy drinks and schools is a good strength, makes me think more about how schools can help teach students and teens that these drinks are bad. You could maybe expand on what your thoughts are about that as well.

—-I did make a note in bold in the middle of the paper where you wrote food and Drug Administration, make sure to capitalize Food.
